We are looking for a passionate and engaging Center Director to help drive the continuing growth of our Fern Creek location
At Sylvan we have a complete process that begins by analyzing each childs strengths and areas for improvement. We then develop an individualized education plan based on these results. We offer programs for all ages and grade levels, in reading, writing, math, homework support, study skills, and ACT/SAT Test Prep. We also offer enrichment courses in STEM standards including Math Edge, Engineering, Robotics with Legos, and our Programming/Game Design course.

Position: Center Director
Job Summary:
The Center Director position is primarily a sales leadership and operations leadership position. The Sylvan Learning Center Director is responsible for the driving revenue and customer satisfaction. Territory development includes running daily operations of our center and satellite locations in the territory, developing future satellite location, identifying feasible new business opportunities and successfully expanding the business and driving new enrollments at the local level. The core mission of the Center Director is to grow revenue from the assigned territory by exceeding quota targets, and managing Center costs through operational excellence. Sylvan Learning is a market leader in supplemental educational services that has dramatically expanded available client solutions to meet critical education challenges.
NOTE: Train to own opportunity also available for right candidate. Candidate must meet Sylvan Learning financial requirements, attend Sylvan training, and be approved by Sylvan if candidate decides to move to ownership role in the future. If hired for the Center Director role, it does not constitute an offer to sell the business or imply any employment or business sale contract. Any business sale contract will be negotiated separately.

Essential
Functions/Responsibilities:
Drive center sales and profitability
Act as a client champion
Actively manage and report on pipeline, status of the business, and forecast revenue
Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual earned revenue goals
Make outgoing sales calls seeking new clients
Timely follow up on leads from the call center, return to active students, tested not yet enrolled students, etc.
Handle incoming calls and successfully answer questions from clients and prospects
Build and maintain client relationships through attentive customer service in order to grow the sales in your territory through referrals, etc.
Participate positively and actively in weekly, monthly and annual sales meetings and company functions as appropriate
Drive repeat recommendations from client families and a high level of customer service in the center.
Ability to work evening hours, and Saturdays.

All operational job functions must be performed in:center.



Fiscal Responsibility
Oversees the profit and loss statements for assigned territory
Oversees operating budget; (note that all significant Center expenses must be pre:approved by the Operations Director)
Oversees accounting records, including the collection and depositing of payments as well as monitors timely delivery of billing and tuition information to students and families.
Manages labor hours and controllable expenses to be within company guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
BA or BS degree required, as well as experience being directly responsible for a P and L.
Intelligent
Software/Technology sales performer with successful Education or related marketplace experience
3+ years experience in a sales role as a front:runner, groundbreaker and overall sales leader a plus; a minimum 2 years of demonstrated sales success with K:12 educational services, business to business, business to education market preferred
